Katakana Practice Sheet
Trace and write each character
How to use this sheet
Each row shows a katakana character to trace twice, followed by three blank boxes to write it from memory. Katakana's straight lines and sharp corners make it easy to trace quickly without really looking — work through one row at a time and check your version against the guide character rather than racing to the bottom of the sheet.
Katakana has more visually similar pairs than hiragana (シ/ツ, ソ/ン, ク/ケ), so writing them by hand is especially useful for training your eye to tell them apart.
Pair it with active recall
After tracing a row, test yourself in Quiz mode to confirm it actually stuck, out of order and without the guide character. For general study strategy, see Learning Tips, or keep the basic katakana chart nearby as a reference while you write.
